Okemo Mountain Resort’s Peak Performer program recognizes employees for giving exceptional service to Resort guests and fellow employees. The criteria used to select winners includes giving the Extra One Percent to Resort guests, going above and beyond the call of duty, and acting as a role model for fellow workers. Prizes awarded during each recipient’s celebratory presentation are an Okemo travel mug, a VIP parking permit, a $40 gift certificate to Okemo, a Peak Performer pin, and a two-week pass to the Spring House Pool and Fitness Center. They also have their photo taken and posted in both base lodges and they are entered into a raffle for a trip to the winner’s choice:St. Thomas, USVI, Crested Butte Mountain Resort,Colo., or Mount Sunapee Resort, N.H.

In addition to the Peak Performer program, Okemo recognizes the efforts of all staff with two grand prize drawings to the winner’s choice of the same three destinations. The winners for this winter season are Amanda Smith, Culinary Services and Wendy Ackerman, Lodging.
Okemo’s Jackson Gore Real Estate department rewards Okemo employees who have referred a guest for purchase of a vacation home at Jackson Gore, by entering them into a drawing for a trip as well. The winner this year is Michael Rubin of the Ski + Ride School.
